Nanocomposites and Materials Bearing Ultra-Grade Properties

Abstract


In this report I will address the topic of nanocomposite materials and their various future applications based on current research in the field. I describe several processes of how different nanocomposites are synthesized from their component parts and how these parts act with each other to produce the qualitative effects that their composites exhibit. Analogously to the unique properties of alloys produced by the amalgamation of metals, nanocomposite materials exhibit properties that exceed the sum of their integral parts, allowing unpredictable and intriguing findings to come about from their experimental synthesis.
